Pint of Science is the largest international science communication festival, and this year will be the 7th time that Portugal has taken part. It once again takes scientists to pubs to give relaxed presentations about the science they are developing. The aim of this festival is to help uncomplicate science and make it accessible to everyone.
This festival is closer than you think! Over the 3 days of the 7th edition of the festival in Portugal, our beautiful city of Porto will host Pint of Science in 3 bars: A Fábrica da Picaria; A Cervejaria by Caçula Group and Espiga.
On 15 May, CEOS.PP Vice-Director and researcher Cristina Lopes will be at ‘A Cervejaria’ to present the theme ‘Engineering for the Future: Solving industrial challenges with innovation’.
From neuroscience, astronomy and biology to botany, engineering or history, all sciences are welcome at Pint of Science!
