Maria Isabel Vieira

Associate Researcher

She is an associate professor at ISCAP, where she has taught Maths for over 36 years. She obtained her PhD in Maths from the Imperial College London in 1995, with the equivalent of a PhD from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. She holds a Master of Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, and a Bachelor of Applied Mathematics from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Porto. Her research interests focus mainly on E-Learning, MOOCs, Data Analysis, Maths Teaching and Critical Thinking. She is author of several scientific publications, member of scientific committees of several international and national conferences, and collaborates as a peer reviewer for national and international journals.
