Propósito e Objetivos: O projeto, visto como uma nova fase de cooperação entre as universidades parceiras, ir-se-á focar na profissão de tradutor/intérprete que exige competências transversais tais como linguística e conhecimento transcultural, lidar com ambientes multiculturais, aplicar normas legislativas e utilizar ferramentas de software. O projeto ajudará a promover a profissão de tradutor/intérprete através da integração de competências de diferentes domínios - linguística, direito, IT, economia, gestão de empresas, e através das boas práticas em cooperação com as empresas que acolhem estagiários estudantes. A inovação do projeto consiste no seu foco nas línguas com pouca expressão.

Aims and Objectives: The Project, seen as a new stage of the cooperation between partner universities, will focus on the profession of translator/interpreter demanding cross-cutting skills such as linguistic and cross-cultural knowledge, coping in a multicultural environment, applying legislative norms, using software tools. The Project will help promote the profession of translator/interpreter by integrating skills from different domains – linguistics, law, IT, economics, company management , and by exchanging good practices in cooperation with the companies hosting students’ internships. The novelty of the Project consists of its focus on the small languages.
