Ana Amaro holds a PhD in Engineering and Industrial Management, and is an associate professor and master's director at ISCAC-IPC.
She teaches and is responsible for several course units in Quantitative Methods and Management Information Systems, and is a scientific advisor for dissertations, projects and internship reports.
The main research interests are Supply Chain Management, Logistics, and Process and Operations Planning, with a special focus on Operational Research and Optimisation.
She has several publications in indexed international scientific journals, book chapters and communications at scientific conferences. She is a reviewer in several indexed scientific journals, and at national and international conferences. She has been a member of scientific committees at several conferences, and has participated in national and international funded projects.
