PhD in Management, with distinction, in 2012/02/10, from the University of Évora. Master of Organisation and Information Systems from the same university. Bachelor of Business Management from the School of Technology and Management of the Polytechnic Institute of Beja. He has worked in a higher technical career for more than 18 years. He is currently a senior lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Beja, Business Sciences department. He has published 10 articles in specialised journals. He has 6 book chapters and 7 books. He has received 1 award. He participates and/or has participated as a researcher in 2 projects, excluding all the activities inherent to his role as coordinator of the IP Beja Projects Office, a role he held for approximately 9 years. He is a full member of the Portuguese Economists Association and the Portuguese Chartered Accountants Association.
