About the Event
On May 26th and 27th the V International Congress on Social Economy will take place, a collaboration of the Escuela de Estudios Cooperativos with ISCAP and the CEOS.PP social economy research line. After the IV edition was cancelled due to the pandemic in 2020, we are very proud to announce the V edition, to be held in Porto, at ISCAP!
This year, the inaugural session will be on May 26th, and the parallel sessions on May 27th, both of which will take place at ISCAP. Today, more than ever, a relevant role is recognized to the social economy, a role that was emphasized with the COVID-19 pandemic crisis. In a world characterized by rapid and constant change and its inevitable need to adapt, social economy organizations play a crucial role in articulating economic growth with the promotion of social inclusion, increasing employment levels, etc..
These sessions aim not only to raise awareness of the social economy and its importance to society and the future of generations, but also to raise awareness of the key areas of intervention on which intergovernmental bodies, governments and other social partners should focus their policies.
Registration is free for students and is open until May 24th, either to attend in person or via ZOOM.
All participants will have access to a certificate/accreditations.
