CEOS.PP partners with ETHICOMP 2025

CEOS.PP - Centro de Estudos Organizacionais e Sociais do Politécnico do Porto - will be a partner of ETHICOMP 2025, a leading international conference dedicated to ethics and responsibility in the context of digital technologies. The event will take place from September 17 to 19, 2025, at the Autonomous University of Lisbon, under the theme “Shaping Digital Ethics Together”.

ETHICOMP 2025 invites researchers, academics, professionals and policymakers to reflect on the ethical challenges posed by information technologies, bringing together contributions from the fields of computer science, social sciences, philosophy, education, management and law, among others. The program includes sessions on artificial intelligence and algorithmic justice, business ethics in the digital age, inclusion and accessibility policies, digital social responsibility, among many other emerging topics.

The conference also highlights the need for transdisciplinary collaboration to develop robust ethical approaches to the design, implementation and regulation of digital technologies. Through its participation as a partner, CEOS.PP reaffirms its commitment to applied research and the debate on the social and organizational impacts of digitalization.

ETHICOMP has been held since 1995 and has gained international recognition as one of the most relevant forums for discussing ethics in the technological context. The 2025 edition continues this tradition, promoting the sharing of knowledge and good practices between different scientific and professional communities.
