CEOS.PP integrates the Digital Innovation Hub CONNECT5, together with CIICESI and PORTIC, in representation of the Polytechnic Institute of Porto.
This is one of the 10 R&D hubs recognized as such and integrating the National Network, being nominated for application for access to the European Network, through a specific competition to be opened by the European Commission within the scope of the Digital Europe Programme.
This integration represents a relevant step for the national and international affirmation of the CEOS.PP strategy and mission, as an R&D unit accredited by the FCT in the area of Dixital Services – Social, Cultural, Economic and Public Administration. CONNECT5 is made up of 12 entities: the higher education institutions University of Aveiro, University of Beira Interior, University of Coimbra, University of Minho, University of Porto, Polytechnic Institute of Porto, Polytechnic Institute of Viseu and the Polytechnic of Leiria, the Cluster TICE.PT, the CeiiA Interface Centers and the Telecommunications Institute, the Colab DTx.
It should be noted that the Digital Innovation Poles are collaborative networks that include centers of specific digital competences, with the aim of disseminating and adopting digital technologies by companies and public administration, contributing to the increase in the competitiveness of their processes, products and services.
