CEOS.PP researchers won Best Research Award

Mafalda Gomes, a researcher at CEOS.PP won the best research award of the year at the School of Social Economy, Cooperatives and Other Participatory Organisations with her doctoral thesis ‘XIV Awards for research and teaching on participatory organizations’, supervised by Deolinda Meira, a lecturer at ISCAP and researcher at CEOS.PP.



On February 12, the Board of Directors of the School of Social Economy, Cooperatives and Other Participatory Organisations (EESCOOP) awarded the ‘XIV Awards for Research and Teaching on participatory organizations for the academic year 2024-2025.

 

 

Among the proposals submitted, the Council decided to award a second prize for the best research of the year to the doctoral thesis ‘Social inclusion programs for young people in vulnerable situations: perspectives of social economy professionals in Portugal’, by Mafalda Gomes, a CEOS.PP researcher supervised by Deolinda Meira, a CEOS.PP researcher and lecturer at ISCAP, and Fernando Marhuenda Fluixá.

 

 

The award ceremony will take place on 28 March at 17:30 in the Salón de Grados of the Faculty of Economic and Business Sciences of the Complutense University of Madrid.
