Sergio Castro Cabana

Sergio Castro Cabana is a professional dancer, teacher, and researcher in academic ballet. He holds a degree in Classical Dance from the Conservatory of Lugo and a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts and Dance with High Distinction from the Alicia Alonso University Dance Institute (URJC), where he also earned a Master's in Cultural Project Management and is currently pursuing a PhD. He was a corps de ballet, soloist and principal dancer at the Ballet de Cámara de Madrid (2018–2024). He teaches classical technique, repertoire and stage performance at university level. Recognized with awards for Academic Excellence and Artistic Interpretation, his research focuses on dance theory and the emotional value of dance. He has also collaborated in audiovisual projects directed by José Luis Temes, National Music Prize winner.
