Maria Inês Braga

Associate Researcher

Inês Braga holds a PhD in Information and Communication on Digital Platforms from the Faculty of Arts and Humanities of the University of Porto. Her PhD thesis in the area of Information Science is on Information Literacy in Higher Education. She is a full member of CITCEM – Centre for Transdisciplinary Research Culture, Space and Memory. She is senior lecturer at the Polytechnic Institute of Porto, having taught in the areas of Languages, Communication and Information Science.
Her areas of interest are: Information Literacy, Soft Skills; Ethics in Information, Communication, Higher Education, Pedagogy and New Information and Communication Technologies.
She has participated in several national and international congresses and published on several of the topics mentioned above.
