Maria Basílio

Associate Researcher

Maria Basílio is a senior lecturer in the Accounting and Finance department at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal. Previously, she was affiliated with the Polytechnic Institute of Beja until January 2025. She holds a PhD in Management from the Lisbon School of Economics and Management (ISEG). Since 1997, she has taught various subjects in management and finance. Her main research interests include public-private partnerships, development finance, risk and performance analysis, and econometric modelling. She is the author of several publications on public - private partnerships, infrastructure and regional development, and public and financial performance.
