Maria Amélia Carvalho
Associate Researcher
PhD in Business and Management Studies, with a specialisation in Marketing and Strategy, from the School of Economics and Management (FEP) of the University of Porto, since 2017. In 2012, she completed a Master of Economics and City Management and a Bachelor of Economics in 2010. Both degrees were awarded by the School of Economics and Management (FEP) of the University of Porto.
She has been a guest senior lecturer at ISCAP since 2018. Her main areas of research are related to Brands and Consumer Behaviour, having published articles in the Journal of Marketing Theory and Practice, International Journal of Tourism Cities, Tourism Recreation Research, among others. She has specific interests in City Branding, Customer Engagement, Consumer Experience, City Marketing and Service Marketing.
