About the Event
ISCAP (Porto Accounting and Business School) is hosting the international webinar “Reflections on Impactful Accounting Education” on June 4 at 9:30 a.m., as part of the ISCAP/IPP Accounting Webinar Series.
The event brings together four internationally renowned guest speakers: Greg Stoner (University of Glasgow), who reflects on ambiguity and accounting; Garry Carnegie (RMIT), who proposes a multidimensional redefinition of accounting practice; Hugh McBride (Atlantic Technological University), who shares approaches to teaching ethics; and Karen McBride (University of Portsmouth), who analyzes the impact of generative artificial intelligence, such as ChatGPT, on accounting education.
The webinar is part of the curricular units of the undergraduate degrees in Accounting and Administration, Consultancy and Translation, Business Communication, as well as the master's degrees in Accounting and Finance, Business Finance, Auditing and Management and Legal and Business Regime of the Social Economy.
