As part of The ISCAP/IPP Accounting Webinar Series, the seminar 'Using the Structured Literature Review Research Method in Accounting Education', led by Catriona Paisey, Professor of Accounting, will take place on 2 April, at 15:00, in online format.
Using the Structured Literature Review Research Method in Accounting Education' on the structured literature review method in accounting education. The event brought together students, teachers and researchers, reinforcing collaboration and the development of innovative pedagogical practices in the field of accounting.

The webinar "Using the Structured Literature Review Research Method in Accounting Education" was integrated into the activities of various course units, including:

- Master's Degree in Accounting and Finance
- Master's Degree in Business Finance
- Master's Degree in Auditing
- Master's Degree in Management and Legal-Enterprise Regime of the Social Economy
The event is aimed at students, teachers and researchers in the field of Accounting and is part of the activities developed by CEOS.PP, in addition to the activities of the degrees in Accounting and Administration; in Consultancy and Translation; in Business Communication; and of the Masters in Accounting and Finance; in Business Finance; in Auditing and in Management and the Legal-Business Regime of the Social Economy.
Guest speaker
Professor Catriona Paisey joined the University of Strathclyde as a part-time Professor of Accounting in October 2022. Before joining Strathclyde Business School, Catriona held professorships at the University of Glasgow, the University of Stirling and Glasgow Caledonian University.
Catriona’s research is mainly qualitative and focuses on the accountancy profession and the making of the accounting professional, with current projects in professional ethics, social mobility, continuing professional development, accounting history, and educational development. She has published in various journals including Accounting, Auditing and Accountability Journal, Accounting and Business Research, Accounting Education, Accounting Forum, British Accounting Review, Critical Perspectives on Accounting, and Studies in Higher Education. She authored an impact case on the restoration of public trust in the accountancy profession that was submitted to REF 2021.
Catriona is a chartered accountant and has served on the Council, Ethics Board, Qualifications Board and TPE Examination Board of ICAS, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland, and is currently a member of its Academic Panel.
In 2021, she was awarded the British Accounting and Finance Association Outstanding Contribution to Accounting and Finance Education Award.
