Presentation | Communicative Process Analysis Software

The Center for Organizational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto (CEOS.PP) is promoting the presentation of the Communicative Process Analysis Software Project as part of Science and Technology Week 2023!

SYNOPSIS

With this activity, we intend to present this research project, still at an early stage, whose ultimate goal will be the development of software that, by uploading videos containing speakers interacting face to face, will be able to transcribe the speech and body movements produced and executed, respectively, in the aforementioned videos. The primary aim of this project is to create a tool that helps and speeds up the analysis of the communication process as a whole - speech, gestures and other kinesthetic movements - obviously taking into account the context in which it takes place. This type of analysis is intended to be applied to the most diverse contexts of interaction and areas of study, namely forensic contexts, recruitment, Human Resources, Marketing, among others
