No próximo dia 16 de dezembro de 2022, às 16h00, realiza-se o seguinte seminário no âmbito do ISCAP/IPP Accounting Webinar Series.

O webinar está integrado nas actividades de unidades curriculares da Licenciatura em Contabilidade e Administração; Licenciatura em Assessoria e Tradução; Licenciatura em Comunicação Empresarial; Mestrado em Contabilidade e Finanças; Mestrado em Finanças Empresariais; e Mestrado em Gestão e Regime Jurídico-Empresarial da Economia Social. O evento destina-se a estudantes, docentes e investigadores da área da Contabilidade e insere-se no âmbito da Linha de Investigação "Accountability and Reporting" desenvolvida pelo CEOS.PP.

Guest Speaker: Enrique Bonsón is a Professor of Accounting at the University of Huelva, Spain. Founder and co-editor of the International Journal of Digital Accounting Research(2001- ), he has served on editorial boards of several respected journals. Professor Bonsón is the President of the Commission for New Technologies in Accounting of the Spanish Accounting and Business Association (AECA, 2009- ). He was a founding member and coordinator of the provisional jurisdiction of XBRL in Spain (2002-2004), Vice-president of XBRL Spain (2004-2016) and member of the Executive Committee of XBRL Europe (2012-2014). In 2017 he was a co-founder and currently (2018- ) a member of the board of directors of the Spanish Observatory on Big data, artificial intelligence, and data analytics (BIDA). His research publications appear inGovernment Information Quarterly, International Journal of Accounting Information Systems, International Journal of Auditing, Journal of Emerging Technologies in Accounting, Journal of Information Systems, Online Information Review, Social Science Informationand many other business and professional periodicals. In 1997 he received the Award for Notable Contributions to Artificial Intelligence/Expert Systems Teaching in Accounting (AI/ET Section of the AAA). His research activity has received 4 positive evaluations (six-year terms) from the Spanish Agency for Research Evaluation in 2002, 2009, 2015 and 2021.
