About the Event
The 8th edition of the International Conference on Gender Research (ICGR), supported by CEOS.PP, takes place from April 10 to 11. The annual academic event brings together students, researchers and professionals from all over the world to debate and present research on the most varied aspects of gender studies.
ICGR has established itself as an essential multidisciplinary space for the discussion and dissemination of knowledge on gender, reflecting its impact on various areas of society. The conference will be led by Drs. Ana Isabel Azevedo, Director of the Center for Organizational and Social Studies of the Polytechnic of Porto (CEOS.PP) and José Manuel Azevedo, Professor in the Mathematics Department of ISCAP/Polytechnic Institute of Porto (P.PORTO), and the program will be coordinated by Professor Anabela Mesquita, Professor at ISCAP/IPP.
The organizers of ICGR 2025 stress the importance of the event, which returns to its place of origin, and hope that this edition will provide enriching debates, the exchange of innovative ideas and meaningful connections between participants. The conference accepts abstracts and articles, with important deadlines to be considered, on the “Academic Conferences” website. The event takes place in person, with the option of virtual participation, allowing greater inclusion of researchers and professionals from different regions.
Accepted papers will go through a rigorous double-blind review process and will be published with ISSN and ISBN on the conference channels. In addition, the papers presented may be developed for submission to prestigious scientific journals, such as the International Journal of Organizational Analysis, published by Emerald Publishing, and Measuring Business Excellence, published by Emerald Insight. The conference will also have its channels submitted for cataloging in renowned academic databases, including Web of Science, SCOPUS, Google Scholar, Google Book Search, EBSCO and ProQuest.
ICGR 2025 promises to be a landmark event for the academic community, promoting debates and sharing research that contributes to significant advances in gender studies.
